Last night, after welcoming Shabbat, #1 was munching on his third enormous piece of challah when I suggested he might want to have something else for dinner.

After pondering for a moment about what might go well with challah, he lit up and announced, "Ham!"

Sadly, we were fresh out.

I like the soy pepperoni. Tastes just like the meat version, only not so oily!

But I don't like to feed developing boys too much soy. They don't need the extra estrogen.

Also, we don't keep kosher. I'm too fond of shellfish for that.

And cheeseburgers.
